Hi There!

I'm a theatre artist currently based in the Twin Cities. I am a creative through and through. Whether it's performing onstage, teaching choreography, or styling wigs, my heart is in theatre. I love making people laugh; I especially love inspiring and teaching younger generations to embrace their own creativity.

I'm just a silly girl with tap shoes, a hot glue gun, and a dream.

My Story

My mom says I have been dancing since before she was even born. I started dancing when I was three years old and haven't stopped since. I did competitive studio dance and middle and high school dance team throughout my childhood, and went on to teach at the studio where I grew up. Getting to inspire young dancers and remind them of the joy and freedom of dance has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

I grew up a shy only child surrounded by her very large, very loud family. But I was always able to find my voice while performing. I started acting in musicals at my church around age 9, which continued through middle school, then I performed in high school as a state-recognized storyteller on my school's speech team. When I step into a character's shoes, ironically, I feel most like myself. I pursued my love for dance and theatre in college, where I also discovered a passion for wig design.

Now, I used to be terrible at doing hair. The first time I ever tried to put my hair in a ponytail, I lost the hair binder (it's probably still in my hair somewhere). I took ceramics and sculpture all through high school; I think that, combined with years of my mom doing my dance hair, gave me a foundation to work with wigs. I taught myself how to work with this new medium and have worked my way up to head of the hair and makeup department at my alma mater. Hair is an important part of a person's identity, and I love using wigs to show an audience more of a character's personality. I've also started expanding into styling wigs for drag queens, which has been so much fun!

My love language is performing and creating, and I feel so blessed to do what I love for a living.
